A special offer just for you!

Quick! Contest closing Friday 5th September!

Draw for a free copy of Bit by Bit taking part under Police Supervision in Russell, Bay of Islands at the Brae's Book signing, Saturday 6 September, 11.30am.

I'll be giving three, autographed copies of my book away on publication. The copies will go to three people randomly selected who have previously indicated an interest in buying the book. Please note that publication has not yet been finalised, so publication could be up to nine months away!

All you have to do is send me an e-mail (click below!) to say you're interested in buying the book, so I can contact you when it's published. This will also help me indicate interest for the publishers, which will help to speed its printing. If you win, you'll get an autographed copy of the book, airmailed to you FREE! Better yet, send your feedback into the talk back page we've just set up and we'll get your email that way.

(You don't HAVE to buy the book, of course, but if you email me I'll make sure you're notified when it's being published. And if it never gets published, sorry... there won't be any prizes!)

This form has been removed because there are no more copies available. Sorry!

Or, send an e-mail to me at jacqui@bitbybit.co.nz - I'd love to have your feedback on my story and my website.

Thanks!
Don't worry, we respect your privacy. And the NZ Privacy Act tells us even if we didn't, it's VERY illegal to send you junk mail. Especially for dogs who can be impounded. So we'll only use your email to contact you about the book sale, that's all.
The second special offer, really special, is this: A friend of mine, Lee Hughes, rode from Canada to Mexico recently, and wrote an entertaining tale about it, 'Straight from the Horse's Ass' which has only been published in New Zealand. It's a great story; he called himself an "averagely dumb city-slicker" looking for something to do on his summer holiday. He rescued a small, stubborn horse from "a career in the Belgian sausage industry" and travelled 3,500 miles down the Rocky Mountains. Well, Lee tells a great yarn, and I've just managed to get from him a few autographed copies which I'm selling from this site. Be quick! So far, 'Straight From the Horse's Ass' hasn't been published anywhere else but this country. You can order it here, right now, and I'll airmail it to you.

The form below is for your convenience; if you'd prefer, just contact me by e-mail with the details and we can arrange payment and freight.

This form has been removed, because there are no more copies of the book available! Sorry.

This site contains an abbreviated version of the complete story of my journey, which I hope to have published (along with photographs I've been unable to include here) in the near future. Once this story is in print I'll be travelling on ... hopefully publishing more stories about life from the back of a horse in New Zealand.

I don't think stories like this ever really end, do they?

At present I'm talking with publishers in New Zealand, but there may well be interest in my journey in your part of the world. I'd be really happy to hear from any publishers interested in assisting in publishing this story.

Jacqui Knight,
jacqui@bitbybit.co.nz
